Midway Animal Hospital Staff

| Dr. Rod Hardee is a native Atlantan. He graduated from Mercer University with an undergraduate degree in biology in 1975, and with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. He has practiced in the Atlanta area since graduation. He and his wife opened Midway Animal Hospital in 1988. Furry creatures at home include three dogs (Annabelle, Archie, and Stu) and two cats (Stella and Fiona). |

| Dr. Lauren Zaleski is a native Atlantan. She received a Bachelor’s of
Science Degree in Biology as well as her Doctorate of Veterinary
Medicine from the University of Georgia. She and her husband and
daughter enjoy cheering for the Bulldogs at home with their dog,
Finley, and cat, Ferris. |

| Dr. Kristie Bard was born in Connecticut and, except for a brief stint
in Northern Virginia, has spent most of the last fifteen years in the
Atlanta area. She received a Bachelor's degree in Biology and a
Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at
Davis. She, her husband and son are loyal fans of Georgia Tech, the
Falcons and the Braves. Their pets include their dog, Ebie Sue, four
cockatiels and several fish. |

| Dr. Matthews is originally from Wisconsin, but spent most of her life
in South Carolina. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music
Education from Furman University and taught public school orchestra
before relocating to Georgia to study veterinary medicine. Dr. Matthews
received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of
Georgia. In her spare time, Dr. Matthews and her husband enjoy cheering
for the Braves, traveling, exercising, and spending time with their cat
and two dogs. |
